DCP is looking to recruit a Chemist in our Polymers Lab in Ravno Pole near Sofia.
Position Overview
We are seeking a young Chemist/Physico Chemist to join our team. The Chemist will primarily focus on polymer synthesis and conducting quality control (QC) tests on prepared polymers. This role is essential in maintaining accurate records of materials, product specifications, and test results. Responsibilities
- Polymer Synthesis:
- Perform polymer synthesis following established procedures and guidelines;
- Ensure the accurate preparation of polymers according to specifications.
- Quality Control (QC) Testing:
- Conduct QC tests on prepared polymers to assess their quality and consistency;
- Report and document test results accurately.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain detailed records of materials used, product specifications, and all QC test results;
- Organize and manage records in an efficient and organized manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Master degree in Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Material Sciences or a related field;
- Excellent command of the English language, equivalent to Level B2 proficiency;
- Strong understanding of polymer synthesis and laboratory techniques;
- Attention to detail and precision in conducting QC tests;
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records and documentation;
- Ability to work effectively in a laboratory setting;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
