We are seeking a Quality & Laboratory Manager to lead quality assurance and laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

  • Implement, manage and improve local quality processes in alignment with organizational objectives and principles.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, maintaining adherence to quality and environmental management systems.
  • Develop and execute a local strategic action plan in collaboration with the group quality team to achieve operational targets.
  • Safeguard local quality certifications and conduct periodic reviews to assess system effectiveness.
  • Conduct risk assessments, evaluate improvement opportunities, and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead and maintain a competent internal audit team to support ISO certification requirements.

Laboratory Management

  • Oversee and ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory, maintaining high-quality standards in testing and analysis with a strong emphasis on safety protocols and practises.
  • Supervise and organize the work of the laboratory team, ensuring optimal workflow and resource management.
  • Manage incoming, in-process, and final product quality control through chemical and physical property testing.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance analytical methods and implement advanced laboratory equipment for improved accuracy.
  • Provide technical guidance for the introduction of new materials, technologies, and production processes.
  • Monitor trends in raw materials and finished product quality to improve competitiveness.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Participate in hiring decisions and training initiatives for laboratory personnel.
  • Effectively manage and mentor a diverse team of laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment to achieve organizational goals.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in quality management and laboratory operations, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Certified Quality Management (QM) training.
  • Familiar with Q-Tools like 5Why, Cause Effect Diagram, FMEA
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, resource planning, and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, ISO 14001.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
