Institut Curie – Paris, France Institut Curie ( is constituted of a hospital and a world-class multidisciplinary research center combining research in cell biology, genetics, epigenetics, immunology, soft matter physics, organic and medicinal chemistry. It includes over 3,000 researchers, physicians, clinicians, technicians and administrative staff working on three sites: Paris, Orsay and Saint-Cloud. The institute’s facilities include advanced imaging, high throughput sequencing, bioinformatics, small molecule
collection, reverse phase protein array, proteomics and mass spectrometry, antibody technologies, cytometry, and animal housing ( In addition, the proximity with the hospital allows access to large clinical databases and sample collections.

As part of one of its strategic research domains entitled “Multiscale Physics-Biology-Chemistry”, Institut Curie is supporting the recruitment of an outstanding chemical biologist as Junior Group Leader in the Chemical Biology unit (UMR3666 CNRS — U1143 INSERM; on its research site in central Paris located in an exceptional scientific environment within PSL* Research University.

The newly recruited group leader will benefit from the expertise of this unit in chemistry/cell biology, and from state-of-the-art research equipment. Appropriate laboratory space for 6-8 people and a startup package will be made available. The successful candidate should meet criteria to obtain funding from national and international sources, and to obtain a stable position from one of the French institutional research agencies (CNRS or INSERM).
